Great eye care doesn’t end at the exam chair.
Dr. Mahnia Madan works with her Vancouver patients as an ongoing partner in their eye health — not just for a single visit, but through years of managing conditions like dry eye disease and glaucoma. I’ve seen Dr. Madan several times and have consistently been impressed by her professionalism, knowledge, and thorough care. What stands out equally is how approachable and easy she is to talk to, which makes appointments feel comfortable rather than clinical or rushed. Her technician was also exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience. And free parking, very nice to have.Posted on Google PTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Madan is kind, attentive and well researched. She takes the time to explain the patient's condition and next steps unlike other doctors who would rush you out for their next appointment.Posted on Google Joti MTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Madan today. After having been dismissed by multiple optometrists for my dry eye concerns, Dr Madan did the most thorough exam I have ever had and gave me a proper diagnosis as well as treatment options. She was very kind, understanding and supportive. I am looking forward to continuing my treatment plan with her and will most definitely been referring her to my friends and family! Thank you so much!Posted on Google MariamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Madan is a remarkable doctor. After having severe dry eyes for years, she helped me identify the root cause, helped me plan out a whole dry eye care routine, and suggested the most effective treatments. My dry eye symptoms are now much better than ever and I absolutely recommend her to anyone suffering from dry eye!Posted on Google Ines ZTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I begun to feel my eye dry condition about a year ago; then my own optometrist, recommended Dr. Mahnia Madan, in Vancouver, BC. Upon entering the office, I notice a number of young ladies and a young man who immediately, with great efficiency and purpose, took care of my needs. Upon meeting Dr. Madan ,I was impressed by her warmth and caring approach to my needs and, it was very evident, that she was well trained and knowledgeable. She recommended a number of ways to treat my condition including IPL treatments given by the IPL technician Vaish, a young, enthusiastic, well trained provider, whose delicate and soft touch made my painful experience durable. Now ,almost year later, my eyes are feeling clear, not itchy, less red, the blurriness completely gone, although I know that I must continue using the drops and cream recommended by Dr Madan. Truly, I was so lucky to be seeing by her because she is a happy, welcoming and truly caring in providing the right care. Thank you all!!! I never feel rushed at my appointment as she takes the time to answer my questions. I have severe dry eyes caused by both facial and ocular rosacea and have been receiving IPL treatments for a couple of years. I've seen a noticeable difference in the redness. Two opthmologists had previously prescribed topical medication as well as antibiotics. Nothing made any improvement until I tried IPL. My dermatologist said that's because the best option for treating redness from rosacea is IPL which can then be supplemented with the topical and oral medications if necessary. (Just a note: although a dermatologist can do IPL on the face, they cannot do the treatment to the eyelids which I believe, in my case, has added to the results I'm getting.) I also recently started PRP (platelet rich plasma) eye drops due to some chronic, painful corneal issues that contribute to my dry eyes and were not responding to prescription and over the counter drops. I've only done one 3-month round so far but have seen improvement. I've been able to reduce the need for steroid drops to once per week for the first time in nearly 9 years which is huge for me. I just wish I had been able to start these treatments years ago. Thank you, Dr Madan, for everything!!Posted on Google Syl DTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've seen a mix of about 10 opthalmologists/optometrists in the past 3 years seeking help for my condition. Dr. K. Mahnia Madan is the only one who's helped me uncover the root causes and provided effective treatment. She is incredibly sympathetic and dedicated. I feel so lucky to have found her, she has changed my life. Vaish, the IPL provider, is also incredible!Load more
